I  have always been interested in human faces. Painting a person, especially a child can be very rewarding. The whole process starting from sketching to actual painting on a canvas is always fascinating. Capturing the right expression of a person, bringing that special moment alive and even selecting the background colour to go along with the character is a challenge I always look forward in anticipation.
